Description/Theory: Ultra Tweeters are remarkable new audio accessories from the makers of the Intelligent Chip and Magic Ring. Each Ultra Tweeter (sold in pairs) is 4x3x1.5 inches with beautifully finished wood veneer. While having all outward appearances of being super-tweeters, Ultra Tweeters are actually no such thing, producing no acoustic frequencies in the audio band (20 Hz- 20KHz), not even frequencies in the 20KHz - 100KHz range of high quality super-tweeters. The Ultra Tweeters' principle of operation is very unconventional, and unique, having nothing whatsoever to do with reinforcing the treble frequencies of the primary speakers or attenuating EMI/RFI.

The Ultras actually function by employing an "ideal" (coherent) single-frequency source to improve the transmission characteristics of the signal-conducting materials. The working frequency of the Ultras is above 1 Gigahertz (GHz). The fundamental change to the conducting materials produced by the Ultras allows the audio signal to be transmitted more efficiently, with less noise and distortion. The Ultras may have a similar influence on the medium (air) for acoustic waves generated by the primary speakers, allowing the acoustic waves to travel with greater efficiency and precision. Since the Ultra Tweeters operate on the entire audio band, the improvement to the sound is not frequency-selective, but across the audio frequency spectrum.

The Ultras provide better defintion, greater depth and transparency of soundstage and more solid imaging. The improvement to sound quality is also apparent in the upper bass and midrange frequencies.

Ultra Tweeters are compatible with any speakers and, because they operate at such an extremely high frequency, there are no issues related to beaming, time alignment of drivers or matching the acoustic output of the existing speakers.

Operation: Ultra Tweeters may be placed on top of the existing speaker cabinets. They may also be placed in any other convenient location since they do not behave like conventional super-tweeters. In fact, Ultra Tweeters will even improve the performance of systems that include high-quality super-tweeters. Light, flexible cables are provided to connect the Ultra Tweeters to the terminals of the primary speakers.
